To answer your question...cork pads are god. I have all the breaking power in the world and I live in the mountains, worry not my friend. The heat exchange is great, its nothing to worry about.
These wheels are amazing at climbing btw! But aero is king, on the downhills and flats they are unrivaled. Great wheels. They make you go fast. Also, when you put them on a Venge, you tend to win local crits! Try it! Watch for yourself!

I have never owned an aero wheel set before so I don't have much to compare them to, but these wheels are awesome! They are smooth, stable and efficient, I can actually feel the wind hitting the wheels and they perform phenomenally in everything except a direct 90 degree crosswind, but how often are you going to come across that? And at $2200 they are one heck of a deal, especially then compared to the cost of certain other full carbon clincher wheel sets on the market. Finally a bike company which can make an aero wheel set that can compete in the market.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Bought these wheels because 1555g for a 60mm clincher is very light. When I weighed them wow 1488g. Thought the ride would be harsh but the wide rims allow for higher volume in the tire which gives a nicer ride and better handling. These wheels have relegated my 58mm (popular brand here tubulars) to the bin at criteriums.
Yes, I recommend this product.

In your video you talk about focusing on not only aerodynamics for your Rapide wheels but also stability and braking. You don't however say anything about heat management, one of the biggest facing CF clinchers. Have you done anything to mitigate heat buildup or softening of the CF resin at high temps? Should anyone feel any hesitation using your CF wheels on descents or twisty descents? Also since braking is in your words one area of focus, does this mean you've opted for a non-cork brake pad? It seems CF wheels on the market that use cork or cork-like pads offer consistent braking but do not offer the higher braking power that rubber or rubber composite pads do. I'm interest in the Rapide wheels, but there's so little information out there, especially compared to your competitors. Thanks.
